GP Batteries Wins the Red Dot Award for Product Design with its ReCyko Pro Charger Range
Every year, the Red Dot Award is given to products that exemplify the highest standards of design quality. Chosen across three categories – product design, brands and communication design, and design concept – each award-winning product can prominently feature the Red Dot label, distinguishing itself as a world-class leader in design.
At GP Batteries, we are honoured to announce that our ReCyko Pro Charger Range has received the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2021. Judged by an international panel of product design specialists, the ReCyko Pro Chargers and Charger Docks have earned their “Red Dot” for outstanding design quality, ergonomics and longevity.

Launched in 2020, the ReCyko Pro Charger range was created for heavy rechargeable battery users, both enthusiasts and professionals, in need of a quick charge.
Capable of charging two batteries in just 1.3 hours, the ReCyko Pro Charger delivers the ultimate charging performance. Together, with the 4-slot or the 8-slot charger dock, the award-winning ReCyko Pro Charger range forms an appealing charging ecosystem unique to the industry. The signature vertical charging design conserves valuable desk space while presenting the charging products in an attractive and functional display.

The ReCyko Pro Charger range isn’t just aesthetically pleasing, however. The ReCyko Pro Charger’s dual colour LED display and auto cut-off functions provide total control and safety to go along with the reduced charging time. The ReCyko Pro Charger Dock provides a more convenient way to charge, with advanced features that will take optimal care of batteries, including battery refreshing and conditioning, as well as battery capacity check through its smart LCD display.
As one of this year’s Red Dot Award winners, the ReCyko Pro Charger range will be featured in an online exhibition on the Red Dot website from 21 June 2021. The range will then be displayed in the “Design on Stage” exhibition in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, where all award-winning products are showcased.
